We heart light painting

We decided to try out some light painting. It's brilliantly addictive when you start.

Once we'd figured out  how to make static light painted images, we moved on to animated ones!

Potted paper paradise

We are working on crafting some paper landscapes at the moment too. These pieces are inspired by traditional Chinese pen-jing, literally 'potted landscape'. Each landscape has two components: mountains and water, or shan-shui. Each shan-shui landscape is its own world. Not a representation. An actual world. In a pot.

 We made them out of paper because we like paper. And because paper is cheap, disposable and everyday: perfect for creating possibility, mystery and subtlety.

We've Vined! It's a Vine! A vehemently vibrant Vine.

It's a paper car being made and then driving off. Nice huh.
